Why Australia?

An Australia Tourist Visa is a type of non-immigrant visa. It allows foreign nationals to visit Australia for a short time period.

Indian citizens who wish to visit Australia for tourism purposes have to apply for the visitor visa (Subclass 600), which allows them to go to Australia for business or tourism related activities.

According to the Australia embassy,

  • When you apply for a tourist visa, you cannot work for any business or sell services/goods in Australia.
  • People intending informal study or training for less than 3 months, may also apply for a Visitor visa.
  • Parents of Australian citizens and permanent residents are able to apply for Visitor visas to visit Australia for longer.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must have sufficient funds to support yourself.
  • You must display intent to return to your home country.
  • You must display the purpose of the visit.
  • You must show that you are in good health.
  • You must display that you have a good character.
  • You must show proof that you have no criminal records.
  • You must not have any debts towards the Australian government.
  • You must not accept or seek any jobs.
  • You cannot study using this visa.
  • You must follow the laws of the country.
