            In general, Canada’s visa application procedure uses a Dropbox system. The processing of a visa takes roughly 5 to 6 weeks.             Students must pay the first semester’s tuition to the Canadian college in advance under the new SPP visa regulations. For proof of living expenses, the candidate must deposit a GIC (Guaranteed Investment Certificate) in advance from either Nova Scotia Bank or ICICI into a specific bank account in their name that will periodically release monies for them while they are in Canada. For the remaining cost and one year’s worth of living expenses, proper documentation and financial verification are necessary.
